It is a food supplement based on a dry extract of Andean maca root 25:1. Each capsule contains 400 mg of dry extract, equivalent – based on an extraction ratio of 25:1 – to no less than 10,000 mg (10 g) of powdered root. Maca (Lepidium meyenii) is an annual plant from the Brassicaceae family. It grows spontaneously in mountainous regions in Peru and South America.
